Spirals and Petroglyphs Sterling Silver Earrings

Handcrafted graduated sterling silver spirals above and below a 1/2 inch sterling silver disc stamped with an Ohio petroglyph replica. The spirals are made from 16 gauge round sterling silver wire and the stamped disc is 22 gauge sterling silver. The French style ear wires (a.k.a. fishhooks) are handmade from 20 gauge sterling silver round wire. The drop on these earrings is approximately 2 1/2 inches. Current stock includes a water bird petroglyph from the Babb's Island site and a warrior from the Kelley's Island Inscription Rock site. Two warriors and birdman glyphs can be special ordered, but will take a few days longer to ship.

Petroglyphs were found at many sites all over Ohio: unfortunately, many are no longer visible due to erosion, damage from vandals, destruction of sites, etc.
