If you love the soft greens of spring, you'll love the gemstone we call prehnite. This sleek modern statement ring holds a 38 x 20 mm 44.9 carat teardrop prehnite cabochon with tourmaline crystals highlighted in the spring green stone. The setting is sterling and fine silver with a 2 gauge half round sterling silver band, size 8. The band has been stamped with a four point star pattern. The heavy band gives this ring excellent balance and it will sit well on your hand. The sterling silver star bead at the base of the cabochon was handmade from sterling silver scrap I recycled. The back of the ring is open to allow light through the transluscent stone. This ring covers the finger from knuckle to knuckle.
